Medical Practice Association

The University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita Medical Practice Association (MPA) was established in 1973 so that full-time faculty at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita (KUSM-W) could practice medicine in order to teach medical students.

The Medical Practice Association was established to provide medical education, research and medical care through its physicians, psychologists and other providers. Members of the MPA are full-time faculty of the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita who provide patient care services at the outpatient clinics located at the medical school, at KU Internal Medicine Midtown and through contractual agreements with other health organizations.
