About Us
KU Wichita Medical Practice Association The KU Wichita Medical Practice Association (MPA) is a 501(c) 3, not-for-profit organization. Members of the MPA are full-time faculty from the KU School of Medicine-Wichita departments of Family and Community Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Preventive Medicine and Public Health, and Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

The MPA is governed by a Board of Trustees (president and secretary/treasurer) elected by its members at the annual membership meeting in October, which meets quarterly. A six-member Executive Committee, comprised of the department chairs and one member-at-large, meets monthly to conduct the business of the MPA.

KU School of Medicine-Wichita In addition to helping the KU School of Medicine-Wichita educate students and residents, the MPA has generously provided more than $9 million to the school since June 2009.
