Free HIV testing will be offered at various locations. This is a day when people who are at risk are encouraged to get tested for HIV. HIV antibody testing is 99.99% accurate and with new technologies, results are available in as little as 20 to 60 minutes. Free HIV testing is available daily at the KU Internal Medicine Midtown Clinic.
Hispanics/ Latinos/as are one of the fastest growing groups of those newly diagnosed with HIV. Community wide programs, awareness and testing will be conducted throughout the day.
