Physicians, psychologists and other providers conduct clinical research to discover, develop or verify knowledge relating to the causes, diagnosis and treatment and the prevention or control of physical or mental diseases.
In October 2003, the Board of Trustees approved And authorized the formation of Clinical Research Institute (CRI), a Kansas corporation, as a for-profit, wholly owned subsidiary of the MPA. The purpose of the corporation is to engage in clinical research. A five-member Board of Directors has been elected to direct CRI.
